Postoperative Care

Improve postoperative care by monitoring surgical patients at risk of complications, shortening their hospital stays, and allowing them to be monitored after they’ve gone home.

We know that after a patient comes out of surgery, there’s a delicate balance between keeping them comfortable and staying on top of potential postoperative complications. Tego allows physicians to better assess the risk of sepsis or an anaesthetic-related apnea event, which can often lead to longer hospital-stays, readmissions, and higher costs for both the patient and the provider. Additionally, if a patient is ready to be discharged and the physician wants to continue monitoring them, Vitls makes it possible by providing hospital-grade, continuous vital sign monitoring at home without the need for multiple, costly, nurse visits.

Clinical Trials

Continuously and remotely monitor a myriad of physiological parameters for thousands of clinical trial participants at once, wherever they are.

Clinical trials are time consuming, costly, and resource intensive. Tego could be, for example, mailed to participants to wear as they go about their daily lives. This could mean larger clinical trials, more accurate data, and reduced costs related to participants traveling to checkups and resources required to monitor participants. The in-depth information gained from large sets of accurate, continuous data could provide new insights and change the face of biotech development.

ER Triage

Monitor patients as soon as they walk into the ER waiting room, triage individuals with critical conditions, and effectively prevent further patient deterioration.

For example, some hospital ERs see anywhere from 150-250 patients per day and every patient that comes through the doors is scared, panicked, and potentially critical. The emergency room staff is challenged with quickly and efficiently triaging patients while also giving them peace of mind. By incorporating Tego into your ER intake process, patients can have the confidence that their vital signs are being monitored immediately, the staff can be alerted to high-priority patients, and treatment can be administered quickly by the physicians. When a provider uses Vitls to streamline the ER process, patients will see shorter wait times and efficient face time with the doctor which means emergency rooms can accommodate more patients in the same amount of time!

Inpatient Monitoring

Eliminate the need for manual, intermittent check-ins and data entry associated with monitoring patients who have been admitted to your general floor.

Once a patient has been admitted to hospital, they will be checked on by the nursing staff every four hours (even during the night). With nursing teams being infamously overworked and understaffed, it’s no surprise that manual checks of patient vital signs and manual data entry can lead to errors and omissions. Tego eliminates the need for manual data entry by syncing patient vital sign data directly into the EHR system. Plus, Vitls makes for a much more peaceful and comfortable experience for patients. Patients can move around freely as well as sleep through the night without interruptions, which has been proven to lead to faster healing. All this whilst having the reassurance that your physician is making the best possible treatment decisions.
